There was an upset when higher ranked BelgianBelfius Mons-Hainaut (10-10) was edged on the road by seventeenth ranked Dutch Den Helder (6-15) 71-68 on Saturday. Den Helder outrebounded Union Mons 49-34 including 17 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was American point guard TreVion Crews (183-1996, college: Bethel, IN) who scored 25 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. American-Nigerian guard Tobi Ewuosho (196-1997, college: Alabama St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was New Zealand power forward James Moors (208-2000, college: Colorado St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and American guard Marquise Moore (188-1994, college: GMU) added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Four Union Mons players scored in double figures. Den Helder moved-up to sixteenth place. Union Mons at the other side dropped to the eleventh position with ten games lost. They share it with Den Bosch and ZZ Leiden.
